ALL ITEMS ARE LEFT AT OWNERS RISK-WE OFFER INSURANCE COVER FOR YOUR ITEMS WHILST IN OUR WORKSHOPS AND IN TRANSIT - YOU ARE ADVISED TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE INSURANCE COVER FOR YOUR PROPERTY WHILST IN OUR WORKSHOPS AS WELL  AS AT YOUR HOME

Repairs are charged in accordance with our estimate-which is approximate-parts are charged extra and customers are advised to budget for this. The most likely parts may be indicated at the time of estimate although it is possible that others will be needed, but if major parts are needed we will notify you. It is quite possible that mainsprings will need replacing as they lose their strength over a long period. Worn out mainsprings must be replaced  and will be charged extra - it may be possible to quote a price for mainsprings on your clock if we haven’t already done so - please contact us if you require a price - most are reasonably in proportion with the type of clock and are worth the extra cost  one-off springs can be expensive as they have to be made - but we will advise you of this .Your clock will have one mainspring for every function ( or for every  winding hole in the dial to make it easier) Long-case clocks generally do not have mainsprings. We reserve the right to charge more than the estimated price so long as it is reasonably in proportion with the estimate.
Most estimates are based on our standard charging system which helps to eliminate spending time on dismantling clocks in order to give an estimate-hence we can give an estimate without charge however if on dismantling a clock and on commencement of repairs we discover undue problems not covered by our estimate we reserve the right to re-estimate before proceeding with the work. All customers are notified in writing when repairs are completed our invoice is sent at this stage, prompt payment is always appreciated.

ESTIMATES AND TERMS MUST BE ACCEPTED IN WRITING OR BY EMAIL - A VERBAL ACCEPTANCE OF ESTIMATE WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED AND TAKEN AS A CONTRACT TO COMPLETE WORK-WRITTEN ESTIMATES MUST BE RETURNED SIGNED AND DATED
OUR PAYMENT TERMS ARE STRICTLY NET 7 DAYS
PLEASE NOTIFY US IF YOU ARE GOING AWAY
ALL REPAIRS ARE GUARANTEED FOR 12 MONTHS

This guarantee does not cover accidental damage misuse or tampering. Please note our guarantee becomes invalid if the clock is handled by another repairer.
All customers will be notified on completion of repairs our invoice is sent at this stage.

SOME   DIFFICULT   REPAIRS CAN TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS - PLEASE BE  PATIENT
ALL UNPAID ACCOUNTS WILL BE RECOVERED THROUGH THE COUNTY COURT.

THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE
